The Unbearable Lightness of Our Words

Mount Bromo, Indonesia, 2012.

Mount Bromo, Indonesia, 2012.

Words that flutter
from our minds,
shining with lustre
line after line.

So we write them
into our book,
immortalising a gem
in which we both partook.

Because of you
I have come to long
for a lightness I never knew
had existed all along.

Without darkness,
we would not know light.
Without your presence,
would I never become alive?

  1. Excellent post however I was wanting to know if you could
write a litte more on this subject? I’d be very grateful if
you could elaborate a little bit more. Kudos!
