7000 Different Languages, and then One

Wiltshire, England, 2011.

It is said
that the Inuit have
a hundred words
just for snow.

She could
easily invent
a thousand words
just for him.

Yet here they were,
no words were spoken.
But soon she realised:
there was no need for words.

For there may exist
7000 different languages,
but here with him,
she only knew one.
